What is determination?

To me determination is having the strength to keep going when you know you want to give up. Determination is seeing life as a journey and understanding that life comes with trials and tribulations. What does not kill you makes you stronger, I often have to tell myself the downtimes are blessings in disguise or is Garth Brooks would say "thank God for  unanswered prayers". Determination is doing the research and putting in the work. Determination is deciding to get up every time you fail and fall. Determination is setting goals and achieving your dreams, be selfish with your time Make your dreams happen. In Nashville I learned that "it happens all the time", if you put in the hard work and you have the dedication. Passion is another driving factor for determination, if you have the Passion to get to your goals, you will achieve them. Now remember success is defined differently by each person, you define your success. Hug the haters, don't let anybody get to you, you understand what you're doing, you understand why you're doing it, let the Passion, drive and determination achieve your dreams. And if you ever need a little more support think Fight Grind Repeat Mr. Bobby Bones taught me that montre and it's a good one,  never give up!

Dedication page for Cali the carny

Writing the dedication page for Cali the Carny was pretty easy it came out quicker than anything I could have imagined and I'm pretty OK with it from the beginning without making any changes or Adaptions .

-To those who have inspired, encouraged and helped me along the way. I thank you.

-To Cecil, Anita and Dennis may your love live on.

-To Chris and Tina thank you for the roots and the wings.

-To the hystericals I met you when I needed you the most. Thank you.

-To moms and dads may you be the nurturing, love and guidance that allows your child to love, live and grow. You are their inner spirit, their courage and fearlessness. Pick your battles and let them be young learn from their courageous, inquisitive souls.
